At the Fayetteville Board of Education meeting Thursday afternoon, Owl Creek School sixth grade student Scout Jennings received a Recognition of Outstanding Achievement Award for placing first in the 2021 Walmart Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Essay Contest.
